Vegan Chorizo Sausage
This vegan version of chorizo sausage is packed with protein and will have even the biggest meat lovers asking for more!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1./4 cup garbanzo beans, canned, drained and rinsed
- 1 scoop unflavored protein powder
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprka
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, optional
- water as needed
- 2 tbsp green chiles, canned, drained and rinsed
Instructions
- Mix all ingredient except for green chiles in a food processor. Pulse until walnuts are the size of a grain of rice. Do not over process, or it will become mushy.
- Add sausage mixture to a frying pan and heat over medium heat, adding water as needed so that it doesn't stick or become to dry.
- Stir in the chiles, heat until warm.
